Securing loans to purchase assistive technology devices can be difficult when it may not be available through insurance or other programs.
The Access Loan program has been on hold for several months and we apologize for the inconvenience to New Mexicans with Disabilities. We will contact anyone who requested a financial loan as soon as we can.
However, NMTAP will be opening the new Financial Loan program, FundAbility NM, in early 2024!
Through a new contractor, Adelante Development Center, FundAbility will allow for individuals with disabilities to purchase a broader type of Assistive Technology that is not covered through insurance or is needed to allow for participation in education, employment, and community engagement!!
More information will come when the transition is established and we are ready to open the new improved financial loans available!
